• Recipient fax numbers, recipient names, cover-sheet details, and saved contacts.
• PDFs, scans, images, signatures, and other documents you upload or capture for transmission.
• Drafts, page order, document-preparation settings, transmission status, delivery receipts, and fax history.
• Quote, credit, payment, and transaction records. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored directly by ClearFax.
• Device, app-version, security, diagnostic, and support information.

How We Use Information

• Create your account and synchronize drafts between Android and the web.
• Generate destination and page-based quotes before you approve a transmission.
• Prepare, encrypt, transmit, retry, and track faxes through telecommunications providers.
• Provide delivery confirmations, receipts, transaction history, and customer support.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and unlawful transmissions.

Service Providers and Legal Requirements

ClearFax shares the minimum information necessary with cloud hosting, payment, document-processing, communications, and fax-transmission providers that help deliver the service. These providers process data under contractual obligations.

We may preserve or disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect users, providers, and the integrity of the service. We do not sell your documents or personal information.

Document Retention and Security

Documents, drafts, and transmission records are retained only as long as needed to provide the service, support delivery and receipts, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You may delete eligible drafts and documents in the product or submit a deletion request.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and other administrative and technical safeguards. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Rights and Choices

You can access and manage drafts, history, contacts, and account settings in ClearFax. You may request an export, deletion of specific data, or deletion of your account through the linked data pages. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children and Policy Changes

ClearFax is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change and will revise the effective date above.
