Information ARGUS Handles

• A location or map area you choose, including a monitoring center, radius, and saved places such as home, work, a commute, or a property.
• Incident, traffic-camera, weather, air-quality, earthquake, aircraft, airspace, vessel, local-news, and radio-feed information requested for your selected area.
• Saved places, camera bookmarks, filters, preferences, and other settings used to personalize the app.
• Basic device, app-version, security, diagnostic, and subscription information needed to operate and improve the service.

Location and Focus Areas

ARGUS uses your device location only when you grant permission and the feature requires it. You may instead choose a location manually or enter a custom coordinate. Your selected focus area helps the app filter public data; it is not a guarantee that every event in an area will be shown.

Saved areas and preferences may remain in the app so you can reuse them. You can remove saved locations and settings in the app where those controls are available.

Public Data Providers

To display live or frequently refreshed information, ARGUS connects to public-data providers, map services, traffic-camera sources, weather and aviation services, maritime data services, local-news sources, and supported radio providers. These providers may receive technical request information such as your IP address and device connection details under their own privacy policies.

ARGUS displays source attribution and freshness information wherever possible. Data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or revised by the original provider. Availability, coverage, and stream delay vary by location and source.

How Information Is Used

• To retrieve and organize public signals around your selected focus area.
• To show incident details, camera status, source attribution, timestamps, and related response information where available.
• To save your chosen places, bookmarks, filters, and display preferences.
• To protect service integrity, diagnose crashes and reliability issues, verify optional purchases, and provide support.

Purchases and Online Services

If ARGUS offers optional paid features, purchases are processed by the applicable app store or payment provider. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The app may receive entitlement confirmation so it can provide the features you purchased.

Online service providers may process technical, security, diagnostic, map, content, or request information as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information or claim ownership of the public information displayed by ARGUS.

Retention, Choices, and Deletion

ARGUS retains account or service information only as long as needed to operate the app, provide support, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Local preferences, saved places, and bookmarks remain until you remove them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

You can request an export or deletion of information controlled by Galadriel Labs through the data-management page linked on this site. We may need to verify your request. Deleting ARGUS does not delete records held independently by public-data providers or app stores; contact those providers directly for their records.

ARGUS Overwatch is not an emergency service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, emergency service, aviation authority, maritime authority, or data provider. Do not use ARGUS as a substitute for official instructions, emergency dispatch, navigation, aviation operations, or maritime navigation. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local authorities.

Children and Policy Changes

ARGUS Overwatch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy when ARGUS, its providers, or applicable requirements change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
